Les Viner

Les is the former Managing Partner of Torys LLP, a leading international business law firm, a position he held for 22 years. During that time he helped to secure the firm’s position as one of the country’s elite law firms, and oversaw expansion in Canada to Calgary, Montreal and an innovative legal services centre in Halifax, and in the U.S. to New York. He has been at the forefront of the legal industry for a generation and has been trusted counsel to leading businesses and families. He continues in those advisory roles and is actively engaged in the community.

In addition to serving on the Sinai Health Foundation Board of Directors, he is also a member of the Resources, Audit and Risk Committee of the Sinai Health Board of Directors.

Les holds B.Comm., JD and LL.M. degrees and CPA and ICD.D. designations.
