After slipping and hitting her head, a doctor recognized that Prathiba was suffering from stroke symptoms. She was rushed into surgery within two and a half hours.

After her surgery, the care team at Hennick Bridgepoint Hospital worked closely with Prathiba to help her relearn how to walk. With the personal care and attention she received, her powerful spirit, and determination to get better, Pratihiba eventually learned to say her name again.
