Janet Bomza
Janet Bomza is an experienced business leader, strategic partner, lawyer, board director, and entrepreneur. She began her career by founding Bomza Law Group which she successfully built into a leading national corporate immigration law practice that was ultimately acquired by PwC LLP. As National Practice Leader and Co-Chair of PwC Law LLP, Ms. Bomza led the exponential growth and transformation of PwC’s North American corporate immigration legal practice within the global professional services firm PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Ms. Bomza currently advises international investors and entrepreneurs seeking top-tier residence and citizenship by investment, globally. She also works as a consultant to Canadian-based start-ups as well as early growth-stage companies entering the Canadian marketplace from abroad.
She is the recipient of several professional awards including Lexpert’s National Zenith Award for career achievement and practice excellence. Ms. Bomza has published and presented numerous papers on Canadian, US, and global immigration law and has held board positions at various professional and charitable organizations including the Ontario Bar Association, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Canadian Employment Relocation Council and the Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic.
Ms. Bomza received her LLB degree from Osgoode Hall Law School and received her BA from the University of Western Ontario. She is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, is certified as a Specialist in Citizenship and Immigration Law and holds an ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
