GLA:D Canada

We offer an education and exercise program that helps manage the symptoms of hip and knee osteoarthritis.

What we do

GLA:D Canada is an eight-week education and exercise program designed to treat stiff or painful knees and hips, as well as knee and hip osteoarthritis.

Participating in the GLA:D Canada program can help reduce your pain and enhance your physical activity levels.

What to expect

The program consists of two to three education sessions and 12 exercise sessions.

Each education session lasts 60 minutes. We cover essential information about osteoarthritis, including treatments and the role of exercise in managing the condition.

The 60-minute exercise sessions take place twice a week over six weeks. Led by a certified therapist, these sessions focus on building strength, improving posture and integrating the exercises into your daily routines for ongoing progress.

We measure your progress at three months and 12 months after the program to help us evaluate and improve the program.
