Hennick Bridgepoint Hospital is located at 1 Bridgepoint Drive, near the intersections of Gerrard Street East and Broadview Avenue in Toronto.

Please note: For ambulatory clinical appointments, you may need to check in at the Christine Sinclair Ambulatory Care Centre on the main floor. Please follow instructions from your physician’s office or clinic.


Getting here by car

You can access the parking lot from St. Matthew's Road, which runs north from Gerrard Street East, or Jack Layton Way, which runs west from Broadview Avenue. 

Patient drop off and pick up is at the Ambulatory Care entrance on Jack Layton Way.

Parking rates and information

  • First 30 minutes are free 
  • $4.50 per hour, up to a maximum of $18 per day

Visitor parking spaces are on the P1 level. Accessible spaces are available if you have an accessible parking permit.

Multi-day parking passes

If you anticipate visiting often, or expect a longer stay in the hospital, you can purchase a multi-day parking pass at a reduced rate. 

  • 5-day pass: $45
  • 10-day pass: $90
  • 30-day pass: $130

Please note:

  • Passes allow you to go in and out on the same day without extra charges.
  • Passes are transferable to others.
  • Passes must be used in one calendar year and are non-refundable if lost.

How to buy a multi-day visitor parking pass

Multi-day parking passes are available from the machine on the P1 parking level. You will also have to visit the Security office.

  • Push the “Lost Ticket” button on the machine twice to purchase a five-day pass, three times for a 10-day pass or four times for a 30-day pass.
  • Pay with cash, debit or credit and take your ticket and receipt from the machine.
  • Go to the Security desk on the ground floor near the Ambulatory Entrance to trade the ticket for your multi-day pass.
  • Insert the parking pass, with the barcode facing up, into the machine when you enter or exit the garage.

The parking garage is operated in accordance with the Provincial Hospital Parking Directive. Revenue from parking at Hennick Bridgepoint contributes directly to enhancing care and advancing research.


Getting here by public transit

Subway

The closest subway station is Broadview. We are about a 25 minute walk south from there. 

Streetcar

  • Take the 504 or 505 streetcars on Broadview; exit at Jack Layton Way.
  • Take the 506 streetcar on Gerrard Street; exit at St. Matthews Road when travelling westbound or at Blackburn Street when travelling eastbound.

TTC - Wheel-Trans 

Wheel-Trans uses accessible buses, accessible vans and sedan taxis to provide door-to-door accessible transit service for people with physical disabilities.

The Wheel-Trans drop off and pick up is located at the Ambulatory Care entrance on Jack Layton Way.

Taxis and ride-sharing

There are dedicated auto-dial taxi phones in two locations:

  • Ground floor, beside the reception desk
  • Main floor, at the information desk

Ride share pick up and drop off is located at the Ambulatory Care entrance on Jack Layton Way.


Bridgepoint Family Health Team

Bridgepoint Family Heath Team is located at 430 Broadview Ave., 2nd floor. It is next to Hennick Bridgepoint Hospital, but in a separate building. Please use the door on the south side of the building. 

Parking

There is some metered parking available at the Family Health Team building.
Additional parking is available at the hospital, located at 14 St. Matthews Road (See above for rates and information). 

City operated pay and display parking is available at 573 Gerrard Street (at Broadview).

Metered parking is also available along Gerrard Street and Broadview Avenue.
