Insurance for private and semi-private rooms
Insurance for private and semi-private rooms
Your extended health insurance plan may cover all or part of the additional charges for a private or semi-private room.
Please check with your insurance provider for details, as some may cover charges in an acute care hospital but not for Rehabilitation or Complex Continuing Care.
It is your responsibility to confirm your insurance coverage. Our team is unable to contact insurance providers for privacy reasons.
Direct billing
We can bill directly to most major extended health benefit plans. This means that rather than paying upfront for the whole amount and being reimbursed by your insurance company, you pay only the amount you are responsible for.
Please confirm with your insurance company or with us at admission if we can bill your insurance company directly. Bring your insurance information with you to the hospital.
