Patient and Family Resource Centre (Library)
The Resource Centre provides the following services free of charge:
- Health and wellness resources with an emphasis on living with chronic illness
- Easy to read and understand health information
- Assistance with personal devices (smart phones, tablets etc.) and general internet questions
- Printing, photocopying and scanning
- Loans of fiction and non-fiction books in large print, regular print and on CD
- Delivery of books to patient rooms

Laundry
We have coin-operated washers and dryers (require quarters) on every patient floor. You can get change at the Business Office on the main floor. Patients need to bring their own detergent.
Wi-Fi
WIFI is available through our BHGuest Wi-Fi network. You will need to review and accept the terms and conditions that will appear in your browser.
Computer access
Computers are available for use in the following locations:
- The patient lounge on your unit (accessible 24-hours daily)
- Patient and Family Resource Centre (Library): Main floor, near the main entrance. Contact the library at 416-461-8252 ext. 3023 for hours.
Entertainment and TV rental services
Entertainment and TV rental services are available right at the bedside, provided by HealthHub Patient Engagement Solutions.
There is a standard touch-tone phone at bedside tables that allows you to make unlimited internal and local calls.
Patients or their loved ones can either complete the rental process anytime on the bedside terminal or by visiting www.ConnectMyBed.ca.
www.ConnectMyBed.ca is available 24/7 to also help answer questions related to local channel guides and request customer service assistance.
Mail will be delivered directly to your unit. If you wish to send mail, you can drop it off at the team station on your unit or in the Canada Post mailbox outside of the Ambulatory Care entrance on the ground floor.

Historic Don Jail
Historic Don Jail
The historic Don Jail - located on the Hennick Bridgepoint Hospital campus - has been restored from a place of incarnation to one of innovation.
Public access
The historic Don Jail is open to the public for self-guided tours Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., excluding holidays. On occasion, areas may be closed for hospital events or maintenance.
Groups of 15 or more people must arrange their visit in advance. Please call us at 416-461-8252 and ask for Corporate Communications.
Preserving the history of the site
Any artifacts or historical memorabilia can be directed to the Toronto Historical Association for proper curation.
