What to Bring to Hennick Bridgepoint

Learn more about what to bring with you to the hospital, and what can stay at home.

Every room has a clothes closet, a small safe and a bedside storage unit. Items that you bring with you must fit in the storage space.

You are welcome to bring a laptop or small electronic devices, however Hennick Bridgepoint Hospital cannot be held liable for any damage or loss that may occur to patient belongings brought into the Hospital.

Items to bring

  • Health (OHIP) card or valid health-care coverage
  • Identification showing your name, address and date of birth
  • Secondary insurance coverage information (if applicable)
  • All medication you are currently taking, in the original bottles, including vitamin or herbal supplements
  • Glasses, hearing aids and dentures
  • Non-slip slippers
  • Running shoes
  • Comfortable clothing
  • Cell phone chargers
  • Any other items that you need to make your stay comfortable
  • Wheelchair, walker or other mobility aids you normally use at home

  • Cellphone chargers
  • Laptop or tablet
  • Personal DVD player
