She maintains an independent laboratory with research focus on dendritic cell immunomodulation using novel injectable hydrogels. Immune dysbiosis in chronic oral infections and metabolic disease; cell mechanosensing; nano/biomaterials and 3D hydrogels for cell modulation are some of the key areas. Her lab is funded by several independent grants. She has published over 30 peer-reviewed journal publications, 5 book chapters and presented over 30 research and invited presentations in international forum.
