Nelia De Oliveira

Nelia commenced her professional journey at Mount Sinai in 1995, initially contributing her expertise to Family Medicine. Over the years, her dedication and proficiency have propelled her through various administrative roles, culminating in her current position as Site Manager.

With a steadfast commitment to enhancing the patient experience, Nelia has and continues to spearhead numerous initiatives within the unit. Her proactive approach continually seeks innovative methods to optimize Family Medicine services. Actively engaged in multiple departmental and hospital committees, Nelia plays a pivotal role in shaping organizational strategies and policies.

Overseeing clinic operations, Nelia orchestrates seamless staffing and oversees comprehensive organizational procedures on a daily basis. Her exemplary contributions have earned her esteemed accolades, including the prestigious 2013 Karen McGibbon Awards of Excellence for Interprofessional Team Participation and the esteemed Claudia Boaventura Family Medicine Excellence award in 2019 and 2023.
