Paula has been an integral part of the Mount Sinai Hospital Academic Family Health Team since 2000. Throughout her tenure, she has gained extensive experience in various administrative roles, including research, undergraduate programs, faculty appointments, and currently, the postgraduate program.

As Medical Education Coordinator, Paula oversees the seamless operation of all educational aspects of the Postgraduate Program. She manages curriculum logistics, coordinates rotation schedules, and facilitates evaluations and learning experiences for residents. Her responsibilities also include scheduling training sessions and overseeing the Family Medicine Mandatory Assessment of Progress testing. Additionally, Paula plays a key role in organizing weekly clinical and multidisciplinary rounds, ensuring continuous professional development and education for both physicians and staff.

Paula's role as a liaison between faculty and residents is vital in promoting clear communication and efficient resource allocation. Paula actively contributes to the University of Toronto's Department of Family and Community Medicine committees. 

Paula’s dedication and expertise have earned her several awards, including the prestigious Dan Stojimirovic Career Achievement Award. Driven by a commitment to fostering a dynamic learning environment, Paula is dedicated to supporting the professional growth of residents and advancing excellence in medical education.
