2024 Sinai Health / UHN Annual Toronto Geriatrics Update Course | Virtual

This event aims to provide physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and students interested in Geriatrics with the latest and essential knowledge in the field. Over time, there has been a growing demand for quality continuing medical education in geriatric care; we are now in our 12th year!

We will discuss updates to Canada's dental plan, dementia and driving, and the latest management tips for BPSD, among other topics. Our objectives are that participants will be able to:

• Recognize and assess common geriatric syndromes in older patients;
• Manage common single and multifactorial medical issues in older patients; and
• Establish an approach to address the common and often interrelated medical and social problems among older patients.

This course is pending accreditation by the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
