Candle lighting for Hanukkah

Hanukkah is the Jewish eight-day, wintertime “festival of lights,” celebrated with a nightly menorah lighting, special prayers and fried foods.

The Hebrew word Hanukkah means “dedication”. Candles will be lit every evening on Hanukkiyah (candle holder for this holiday) at the Murray St. entrance, signifying light in the darkness.
