Learning Objectives:

  • To describe the roles and responsibilities of substitute decision makers,
  • To address common misconceptions of substitute decision making, and
  • To discuss strategies for resolving conflicts with and amongst SDMs

Eoin Connolly is a Bioethicist in the Bioethics Department at Sinai Health and covers Mount Sinai Hospital. He is an Adjunct Lecturer in the Dalla Lana School of Public Health and a CORE Member of the Joint Centre for Bioethics at the University of Toronto.
