Mount Sinai Hospital ranked in Top 3 Canadian hospitals

Newsweek and Statista – a global market research company – ranked over 2400 hospitals from 30 countries to decide which hospitals are the best in the world.

Patient experience, quality metrics, patient outcomes as well as the input from tens of thousands of medical professionals and a board of global experts were used to rank these hospitals.

On top of achieving the third top spot in Canada, Mount Sinai placed in spot 32 on the list compared to other hospitals around the world. Mount Sinai has now made the World's Best Hospital list seven years in a row.

Mount Sinai is also recognized in their list of World's Best Specialized Hospitals for 2025, placing in the Top 25 in the areas of obstetrics and gynaecology, endocrinology and neurology.

Mount Sinai Hospital, part of Sinai Health, is an acute care academic health sciences centre known for delivering compassionate care for more than a century. It is the first and only hospital in Canada to receive Magnet® recognition for nursing excellence and patient care.
