Mount Sinai Hospital ranked in Top 3 Canadian hospitals

Founded in 1923, Mount Sinai Hospital is a leading academic health centre that delivers life-changing, compassionate care in Toronto.

According to an annual global hospital ranking, Mount Sinai Hospital has been selected as the third best hospital in Canada.

Newsweek and Statista – a global market research company – ranked more than 2,400 hospitals from 30 countries to decide which hospitals are the best in the world.

Patient experience, quality metrics, patient outcomes as well as the input from tens of thousands of medical professionals and a board of global experts were used to rank these hospitals.

In addition to ranking third in Canada, Mount Sinai placed 32nd on the global list of hospitals. This is the seventh year that Mount Sinai Hospital has made the list.

Mount Sinai is also recognized in their list of World's Best Specialized Hospitals for 2025, placing in the Top 25 in the areas of obstetrics and gynaecology, endocrinology and neurology.

Mount Sinai Hospital, part of Sinai Health, is an acute care academic health sciences centre known for delivering compassionate care for more than a century. It is the only hospital in Canada to receive Magnet® recognition for nursing excellence and patient care.
