Racing for research

Race 4 Research is a Sinai Health Foundation initiative that allows you to fundraise for research at Sinai Health System when participating in local Toronto runs. Enrico Tingin, a Systems Analyst at Mount Sinai Hospital, ran the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon last year and chose to support Sinai Health.

“I thought it was a great opportunity to raise awareness of the tremendous work that Sinai Health System is doing for the community,” said Enrico. “I have some relatives and friends who were treated and cared for by the hospital. Running for Sinai Health and doing my bit for the cause gives me that extra motivation to complete the distance on the big day.”

You can sign up for Race 4 Research in three easy steps:

  1. Register as a participant in one of the upcoming Toronto races
  2. Select Sinai Health Foundation as your “charity of choice”
  3. Create a fundraising page and start asking your friends and family for support!

All funds raised from Race 4 Research support the Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute(opens in a new tab) and the Bridgepoint Collaboratory for Research and Innovation(opens in a new tab).
