The first Mount Sinai baby of 2023

At the stroke of midnight on New Year’s Eve, people around the world welcome the opportunity for new beginnings. Each baby born on New Year’s Day is a bright spot representing hope and an abundance of possibility, encompassed in the innocence of the New Year.

At Mount Sinai, a baby boy was born at 12:01 a.m. to Oxana. Thank you to the care team in Labour & Delivery for your support.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of Mount Sinai Hospital. Mount Sinai has proudly delivered babies since 1923, and today supports more than 7,000 births each year. The birth of a child is a momentous occasion and Mount Sinai is so grateful to provide expert care to families through this personal milestone.

Congratulations to all!
