Dr. Danielle Bischof

Dr Danielle Bischof is a surgical oncologist at Mt Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Canada. Dr Bischof completed medical school and general surgery residency training at the University of Toronto. She then completed a clinical and research fellowship in surgical oncology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, USA. She obtained a Masters in Health Sciences in clinical investigation from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Her clinical interests are in gastrointestinal surgical oncology, including the management of peritoneal based malignancies. Dr Bischof is interested in quality improvement for patients undergoing surgical procedures, including reducing unnecessary blood transfusions.
