Lindsay Herzog

Dr. Lindsay Herzog is a staff family physician, providing comprehensive family medicine at the Mount Sinai Academic Family Health Team. She is a lecturer within the Department of Family and Community Medicine, and teaches learners at all levels.

Dr. Herzog completed her medical degree at the University of Toronto, and completed her family medicine residency at Mount Sinai Hospital, University of Toronto. Following her residency, Dr. Herzog participated in the Enhanced Skills Program in Adolescent Health, as well as the Education Scholar Program at the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto.

Dr. Herzog is the Equity, Diversity, Inclusivity (EDI) and Social Accountability Lead at the Mount Sinai Academic Family Health Team. She is also the Associate Faculty Lead for Portfolio (a reflective practice course) in the Temerty Faculty of Medicine MD Program, and the co-Program Director for the Education Scholar Enhanced Skills Program at the Department of Family and Community Medicine. Her academic interests are in medical education, specifically regarding the use of transformative approaches to equip trainees with the capacity and motivation to provide care that is equitable and person-centered.
