Learn what to do when you need to call in sick from work.

Steps to follow

Contact the call centre or email [email protected] for any of the following:

  • Reporting communicable/infectious symptoms within the last 24 hours, including respiratory and gastrointestinal symptoms, pink eye, shingles, etc.
  • Reporting all sick absences of more than three (3) shifts and submitting a Treating Physician Statement (TPS) for these absences
  • Obtaining a blank TPS if you do not have one
  • Reporting a workplace injury or illness
  • Reporting an injury, illness or disability requiring accommodation
  • Reporting sick absences related to a chronic condition
  • General Occupational Health inquiries
