What to expect
Please note that Spine Clinic services are not covered by OHIP. However, many insurance health plans (benefits) do have coverage for chiropractic services.
At your appointment, you will meet with a chiropractor who will discuss your medical history with you and perform a physical exam.
The chiropractor will then work with you to design a treatment plan that is specific to your needs. Treatment plans may include any of the following:
- Manual therapy
- Exercise
- Self-management strategies
- Education
Please note we are a teaching hospital, so you may see medical students, residents or fellows as part of your care. Learners are supervised by other members of our dedicated health-care team who work together to provide you with comprehensive care.
What to bring
- A method of payment
- Any imaging or test results you have
- A list of current medications
- A list of any questions
