Dentistry Fees

Most dental fees are not covered by OHIP and the responsibility of payment falls to the patient.

Our fees

While our dental clinics are in a hospital setting, most dental fees are not covered by OHIP. OHIP may cover the cost of your initial consultation at our clinic and some specific non-dental tests related to your dental care. Any costs beyond this coverage are your responsibility.

Our dental fees align with the current fee guide of the Ontario Dental Association. If you are not sure if your appointment or treatment is covered by OHIP, please ask us.

Fees not covered by OHIP are due in full after your dental appointment. Payment can be made using cash, credit card, or debit card.

Dental insurance

If you have a dental insurance plan, we will provide you with a claim form to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. We do not process insurance bills on your behalf.

Other coverage

If your dental care is covered by a social services program such as the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP), please bring your dental card or other proof of coverage to your appointment.

Please be aware that not all appointments and treatments in our dental clinics are covered by social services plans. We will let you know before your first appointment if your specific appointment or treatment is not covered by your social services dental plan and discuss your options.
