Uro-Oncology Clinic
We diagnose and treat cancers of the urinary tract and reproductive organs.
What we do
Our urologic oncologists specialize in diagnosing and treating cancers of the urinary tract and reproductive organs, including bladder, prostate and kidney cancer, as well as cancers of other genital and urologic organs.
We also assist other surgical oncologists at Sinai Health in the care of patients with complex oncologic conditions.
What to expect
At your first appointment, you will meet with a uro-oncologist to discuss your symptoms, medical history and any questions you may have.
We use diagnostic tests, including CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, various blood tests and tumor markers, and endoscopy to understand your condition and plan the best treatment options.
Once a diagnosis is confirmed, the uro-oncologist will work with you to develop a plan of care that is specific to your needs. Your treatment may include surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy or hormone therapy.
We have expertise in all aspects of urologic oncology surgery, including minimally-invasive robotic surgery using the Da Vinci platform, laparoscopy, and open surgery. As a result, we are able to develop a treatment plan that works best for your situation.
Please note we are a teaching hospital, so you may see medical students, residents or other medical trainees as part of your care. Learners are supervised by other members of our dedicated health-care team who work together to provide you with comprehensive care.
