The Reitman Centre for Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support and Training

We offer group programs, individual support and other services to care partners of people living with dementia.

What we do

Our interprofessional team at the Cyril and Dorothy, Joel and Jill Reitman Centre for Alzheimer’s Support and Training provides comprehensive services for care partners and their family members with dementia.

The Reitman Centre at Mount Sinai Hospital is the provincial hub for the Enhancing Care for Ontario Care Partners program.

Our clinical services and groups help care partners manage the day-to-day care of a person living with dementia. Our programs aim to help care partners cope with and reduce emotional stress and burden. Care partners will improve their ability to deal with the demand of caregiving.

How to access our services

A referral from a health-care provider is encouraged, but care partners may also contact the program for services directly. We also accept referrals from other clinical services and community agencies. Visit our referral criteria for more information.
