The Endocrinology team at Mount Sinai Hospital specializes in the diagnosis, management and treatment of complex hormonal diseases.

More than 20,000 patients visit our diabetes and endocrinology clinics at the Leadership Sinai Centre for Diabetes (LSCD) each year. Our centre is a national leader in providing care for people with complex diabetes, thyroid disease and other endocrine conditions. We also specialize in caring for pregnant people with pre-existing Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes, as well as those with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM).

Our program is recognized for advancing diabetes care and research locally, provincially, nationally and internationally.

Our endocrinologists conduct research alongside their clinical work, which gives patients the opportunity to take part in clinical trials to advance diabetes care.

We are fully affiliated with the University of Toronto and a recognized leader in diabetes education.
